Job Description

Overview Designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions in the Organization. Responsibilities include admin tasks like managing storage, security, authentication and roadmap for DWH tools in organization. Responsibilities • Will be responsible for technical design and implementation of lifecycle activities associated with the extract, transform and loading (ETL) of database tables with automated utilities, ETL tools like SAP BODS, SDI • Perform root cause analysis on all processes and resolve all production issues and validate all data and perform routine tests on databases and provide support to all ETL applications. • Develop and perform tests on all ETL codes for system data and analyze all data and design all data mapping techniques for all data models in systems. • Provide support to all ETL schedule and maintain compliance to same and develop and maintain various standards to perform ETL codes and maintain an effective project life cycle on all ETL processes • Analyze and interpret all complex data on all target systems and analyze and provide resolutions to all data issues and coordinate with data analyst to validate all requirements, perform interviews with all users and developers. • Creation and modification PL/SQL and SQL Loader scripts, triggers, packages, functions and stored procedures for data conversions and PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on user inputs. • Writing SQL, PL/SQL programs required to retrieve data using cursors and exception handling. • Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup and recovery operations for environment. Report regularly on health and performance of environment and jobs. Conduct optimization, troubleshooting and debugging. Handle the deployments and upgradations. • Responsible for monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems. HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio and also managing users and roles in SAP HANA system • Handling the admin tasks in Data Governance or Data Orchestration tools like SAP DI • Building SAP BO – Web Intelligence reports and create dashboard using SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) & POWER BI Skills Advanced: • SAP BODS, SAP SDI • PL/SQL • SAP HANA & SAC Administration • SAP Business Objects (Web Intelligence) Intermediate: • SAP DI & Administration • Microsoft Power BI • SAP Analytics Cloud
